Advanced Plastics are seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team. We are an injection-moulded plastics manufacturer supplying some of the leading names in the automotive, heating and cooling industries, delivering excellence every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity which will see you leading the planning, execution and commissioning of automation and controls projects. You will liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of assets and ensure technical excellence, cost effectiveness and timely delivery of electrical automation projects.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe delivery of engineering projects to specification, budget and schedule.
Ensure all machinery and installations are safe, compliant and supported by up-to-date technical files.
Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth asset introduction

About you:
Have a proven background in electrical and mechanical design, robot integration and automated processes
Good understanding of PLC, motion & modern protocols.
Experience carrying out electrical installations and fault finding.
Experience with project management and delivery.
Strong personality with the ability to motivate others
Ideally HND or degree educated.
