The Role

You will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the factory floor, including conveyors, labelers, scales, and processing machinery. Your duties will encompass performing routine inspections, executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and quickly addressing equipment breakdowns. You will diagnose problems and deliver durable repair solutions. Working closely with various departments, you will aim to minimize downtime, keep comprehensive engineering records, and ensure efficient shift handovers. Adherence to Food, Health & Safety regulations is mandatory. Additional tasks include adjusting machinery and managing smooth changeovers as required.

What We're Looking For

Practical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems. Electrical qualification, with knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulationsbeing a plus. Background in process plants, fillers, packaging machinery, and manufacturing environments preferred. Familiarity with HMI systems is advantageous. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
