We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our plant machinery and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels and equipment status. Troubleshoot any operational problems and implement effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while adhering to safety protocols. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in training new staff members on plant operations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred. Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and reporting. A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety within the workplace. Flexibility to work shifts as required by operational needs.
