A bit about the role...


Day to day you'll be calibrating electrical and electronic test equipment. In our modern fully air conditioned calibration laboratories. All training is provided on the job by our friendly supportive team. But not just any team, the Compli team!

You will perfect your skills through amazing training, taking care to make every customer experience an awesome one. In addition to this, you will enjoy the following:

More about the role...



Following our continuing extensive investment and refurbishment programme, an exciting opportunity is available for a trainee calibration technician within our electrical and electronic Calibration department. The ideal candidate will have BETEC qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar and have some familiarity with electrical and electronic measuring equipment, however a keen interest and can do altitude is even more important than experience!

You will be trained how to use and calibrate electrical and electronic measuring equipment such as Portable Appliance testers, Multi function testers (MFT's) digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, earth bond testers, high voltage testers and many many more interesting measuring equipment types.

Compli Group have an on-going program of continuous investment in latest calibration equipment and fully and semi automated calibration equipment to meet the requirements of our increasing customer base, primarily within the aerospace industry for customers working to AS9100. You will be involved in assisting the department to develop and prosper using your enthusiasm and newly learnt skills!

Compli Group Ltd is the South Coast's leading independent multi-discipline calibration laboratory, With UKAS ISO/IEC17025:2017 accreditation and ISO 9001:2015 Registration.

The company currently employs approximately 20 staff based in 3 modern calibration laboratories in modern premises in Creekmoor Poole, providing, service and calibration to support for many high technology electrical engineering manufacturing customers and facility management companies.

The successful candidate will undergo systems and familiarity training and individual calibration instrument and process training for the use of the calibration systems and equipment

The role is based in the electrical Calibration laboratory in Poole.

You will be responsible for:- The calibration of electrical and electronic test equipment - Recording of results using the company and automated calibration equipment databases .

This is a full time daily position 8.30am to 4.30pm 37.5 hours per week with some paid overtime as necessary.
