Electrical Project Manager / Contracts Manager

We are looking for a manager to be responsible for the design, installation and commissioning phases for a number of projects/contracts across the UK, ensuring successful project delivery, safely, on time and within budget. You must be very IT literate, capable of producing programmes for the work, preparing cost reports and project updates on a regular basis and be able to manage in house engineers and subcontractors. To be considered, you must be a Project/Contacts Manager or Engineer, with recent experience of successfully managing projects. Experience of high voltage systems would be of an advantage.

To qualify for the role, you will need:

At least 5 years experience in the management of complex technical projects in the contracting industry Very good engineering and technical skills Good financial acumen in project business Experience in managing external subcontractors To have been in charge of projects or teams for simultaneous projects across multiple sites and multiple customers
Key responsibilities and competencies include:

Proposal / Contract management - supporting the tender phase, analyzing customer requirements and examining their technical feasibility and the formulation into a tender Customer management - actively gathering information on the customer and the customer's requirements / targets Identifying business opportunities and creating additional business out of the ongoing projects Efficient management of costs, time, quality, safety, subcontractor's work Finance management - having profit and loss responsibility for the projects
Candidate will be required to travel anywhere in the UK and lodge away as required.

This is an autonomous position; as a result, the company provides a competitive remuneration package.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 50,000.00-65,000.00 per year
