Electrical Design Engineer - 2396

Due to increased workloads on several 5G projects and an ever-increasing EV design and installation department we are looking to recruit a Electrical Design Engineer to join our team with a view to growing the business further.

The successful candidate will be requiring the following skills

o 2396 Electrical design & verification is essential

o Testing and inspection 2391 or 2394 Initial verification & 2395 Part 2

o BS7671 update 18th edition

o Experience in working to tight deadlines on fast paced projects is required

o Experience of British Standards and Eurocodes is required

o planning and organising work, delegating, and prioritising

o Candidates must be able to demonstrate all round technical competence, have knowledge of concept design, buildability, details design

The successful candidate will need to have,

o Proactive approach to the design

o Efficient management skills of time and templates

o Attention to detail on the design and specs

o The initiative to look for the information and ask questions when support is needed.

Preferred but not essential (training can be provided)

o DC understanding and training

o EV design and installation

o Mode soft electrical OM

Hours and environment

o Based in our Head Office in Edenfield, Bury

o May be required to travel when necessary to sites nationwide

o Your hours will usually be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-42,000.00 per year
