Job Description
The Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, your key responsibilities would include:
Partnering with the Sales Team to engineer customised solutions that meet client needs Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical (or similar CAD software) Collaborate with production teams to resolve design challenges, support manufacturing, integration and testing processes as required Design and develop LV switchgear panels, including general arrangement drawings and layouts Ensure compliance with relevant standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and product innovation
Requirements:
Electrical Engineering degree or HNC/HND or Qualified Electrician with Switchgear Design Experience or equivalent experience Experience in LV switchgear panel design and electrical schematic development Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar software Knowledge of PLC control systems and integration
