Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at HEMCO. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical systems, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various design software and tools.

Duties

Identifying / interpreting customer requirements

Designing electrical control systems and products

Reading design specifications, functional design specifications and technical documentation

Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales

Working to British (BS), European (EN) and other standards

Writing PLC, HMI/SCADA software

Liaising with others in the design team

Liaising with clients and contractors

Attending meetings on site

Designing and conducting tests

Recording, analysing and interpreting test data

Proposing modifications and retesting products

Qualifying the final product or system

Servicing and maintaining clients equipment

Preparing new project quotations etc.

Preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations

Monitoring a product in use to improve on future design

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-50,000.00 per year
