Single Line Diagrams / Cable Schedule development Technical Equipment Specifications Other contract deliverables as required Support Change and configuration management Key Stakeholder engagement (External/Internal) Support PQ reviews and closure OEM documentation reviews Support implementation of design rules Compartment & Routed System model reviews Support product safety engineers as required

Core Duties


Author, develop and manage Single Line Diagrams / Cable Schedules Author, develop and manage Technical Equipment Specifications Author, develop and manage Schedules of Work Support the Senior/Principal Engineers in the discharge of their roles Change management support Configuration management support Key stakeholder support (Internal/External) Review all OEM deliverable documentation Author, develop and manage keyplans Identify and manage design rules to implementation Alongside the above, any additional documentation required to satisfy the
contractual obligations of the project
Competencies


Minimal experience in engineering or a defence related industry Strong understanding of Detail Design Requirements as immediate customer in
Engineering Lifecycle

Understanding of lifecycle management process Understanding of requirements acceptance process Good knowledge of current discipline Able to perform analysis using recognised analytical tools and to make sound
judgements

Sufficient capability to be able to make correct trade-off decisions Experience in an electrical engineering environment Good verbal and written communication with management and peers Flexibility through response to radical changes Understanding of product security * Understanding of product safety
