The Role

We're looking for an

Electrical Design Engineer

to join our growing team. You'll work on a wide range of building services and specialist engineering projects, contributing to design stages, and gaining exposure to client meetings and site work.

Key Responsibilities

Produce electrical building services designs from concept to detailed stages (RIBA). Prepare drawings, reports, specifications, and technical documentation. Support senior engineers in client and stakeholder discussions. Assist with tender reviews and contractor evaluations. Attend site visits, surveys, and meetings. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability standards. Contribute to a positive team culture and support junior colleagues when needed.

About You

, or any sector involving complex electrical design. Transferable skills are highly valued.

You will have:

Experience in electrical design (power, lighting, alarms, PV, EVC etc.). Understanding of IET Wiring Regulations and Building Regulations. Experience with design software such as Amtech/Trimble and Relux/Dialux. Revit experience beneficial but not essential. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach. A full UK driving licence (essential due to project and site requirements).
