Job Summary

This role is open to both graduate/junior and experienced level. It offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a wide selection of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Off-Highway and more.

The successful candidate will play a key role in design, development, and integration of electrical and automation systems for testing solutions, including selecting appropriate hardware such sensors, actuators, and control systems.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed drawings and design specifications that meet contractual requirements and promote cost-effective design Produce detailed technical documentation including electrical schematics, control logic diagrams and operating manuals Ensure designs meet national and international standards, regulations and safety requirements Perform self-verification of tasks to ensure quality and troubleshoot issues, recommending modifications or corrective actions Ability to specify and liaise on the procurement of electrical assemblies and components Support sales in technical reviews of RFQ's, including the ability to define a system outline from customer requirements Assist with technical and electrical support/troubleshooting to project managers, production manager and commissioning engineers when required Communicate with other departments and collaborate with suppliers regarding product design, operation and integration. Support installation and design reviews on Customer sites.

Requirements

Minimum of two years industry experience Degree in electrical and/or automation engineering EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical experience (training can be given in either package as required) UKCA/CE Design, Machinery Directive and Beckhoff Automation Technology experience Full clean UK Driving License Valid Passport

Pay: 30,000.00-52,500.00 per year
