We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing electrical designs and schematics for various projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines. The Electrical Designer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical designs and schematics using CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications. Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to create accurate design layouts. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project needs. Prepare documentation for electrical systems, including specifications and reports. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the design process. Assist in the coordination of designs with other disciplines using tools like NavisWorks and Civil 3D. Provide support during the construction phase by addressing design-related queries.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with electrical design tools such as MicroStation, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Sketchup, and SolidWorks is advantageous. Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and industry standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
