As an electrical engineer you will prepare cable looms, build electrical panels, repair, and troubleshoot on electrical and mechanical equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established company and advance your career in a challenging and rewarding setting.

Job Summary

You will be required to have a basic skill set that includes light mechanical assembly and soldering/wiring of our products.

The successful candidate should be hardworking and reliable and able to follow work instructions, and able to communicate effectively.

Additional training will be provided where necessary.

General Description / Main Duties

Hand crimp and use of automated crimping machinery.

Twist and tin wires.

Operate cut and strip machine - training will be given.

Hand soldering (training can be given)

Complete all tasks to high standards whilst following ISO guidelines.

Monitoring orders and ensure orders are completed in accordance with the required dates.

Maintaining stock levels and placing orders with suppliers and/or liaising with customers accordingly.

Ensuring your workstation is maintained and in order at all times.

Communicate effectively with delivery/collection drivers, telephone enquiries and be a representative of the Company at all times.

Learn and efficiently use the necessary machinery safely and immediately report any issues as required.

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to do some heavy lifting of equipment in line with health and safety guidelines.

Skills required for Electrical Engineer

Electrical and engineering experience is preferred but not essential

Proven experience in a factory/ manufacturing environment

Knowledge of electrical terminology and systems

Capable in using handheld tooling
