Equans is looking for an Electrical Engineer

to join our team based onsite at Gloucester Quays Shopping Centre.

This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused Electrical Engineer to join our team based at the Peel L&P owned and managed Gloucester Quays Shopping Centre. This is a static, site-based role, responsible for delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of site systems and services.



You will be working in a live customer-facing environment, engaging with both the client and the general public--exceptional customer service skills are essential.







What will you deliver?




Carry out all statutory and non-statutory PPM tasks as per the annual planner and instruction sets. Maintain up-to-date site logbooks and ensure all certification is recorded accurately. Identify faults and produce technical reports. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance calls raised via the EQUANS Service Desk. Provide clear updates to the Administration team, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs. Work to site-specific and general PPM Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Maintain EQUANS quality standards in all works undertaken. Supervise and escort subcontractors, ensuring compliance with RAMS and site procedures. Participate in the emergency call-out rota and be flexible with overtime requests. Complete and submit all required documentation and technical reports accurately and promptly. Collaborate with team members on multi-person tasks. Represent the company professionally, in uniform, and maintain a presentable appearance.

Who are you?




NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing PAT Testing (BS2377) Computer literate and confident using handheld PDAs Experience with maintenance and fault diagnosis of HVAC systems Familiar with BMS operations and fire protection/plumbing systems
