Electrical Engineering Technician (multi Skilled)
Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. Planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant & equipment as follows: Electrical distribution systems Standby Generator Testing Lifts rescue trapped persons Survey & quote for minor electrical installations and alterations Carry out minor electrical installations and alterations Lighting Plant Controls Environmental Computer controlled systems Air Handling Units Nurse Call Systems Heating & Ventilation Water softening plant Refrigeration Systems Emergency lighting Isolated Power systems Central Battery system UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) systems Fire Alarm testing and attendance to fire alarms when on call Calorifiers and Hot Water systems Heating & Ventilation Controls Steam Plant MTHW (Medium Temperature Hot Water) Plant LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water) Plant Plumbing (including all parts of domestic hot and cold water systems) Pneumatic Tube system Medical Equipment Medical Gas plant & Equipment Other Mechanical and electrical items as and when added or identified Carry out minor building repairs when on-call Please see job description & person specs for full details.
