ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TRAINER / ASSESSOR (37.5 Hours)

Salary: 38,252.88 up to 40,285.09 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

As a Electrical Engineering trainer / Assessor you will be responsible for delivering outstanding learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire apprentices to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully pass their apprenticeship and progress in their career. This role will include the delivery of coaching sessions to support learners in completion of the apprenticeship. This will take the form of regular progress review meetings with both learners and their employers.

In this role you will support the progressive development of the apprenticeship assessment / training materials. Working in conjunction with the Engineering delivery team.

The successful candidate will:

Have a minimum of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Engineering Be able to travel throughout West Cumbria
It is considered advantageous to:

Hold an assessors qualification or be willing to work towards attaining Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards attaining
You should be an effective communicator and team player with relevant industry experience as a Mechanical Engineer. A good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and IT systems is essential.

Starting salary - 38,252.88

After 6 month probation - 39,318.98

Qualified salary = 40,385.09
