Holgate Electrical is a fast-growing electrical contracting business based in Brighton, Sussex. We specialise in solar PV, battery storage systems, and all aspects of electrical installation work across domestic, commercial, and renewable sectors.

As we continue to expand our client portfolio and take on larger, more complex projects, we are seeking a talented Estimator / Contracts Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our future success.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of both estimating new projects and overseeing contract delivery, helping us secure new clients while ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for electrical projects of varying scale. Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Manage contracts from award through to final handover. Build and maintain strong relationships with

new and existing clients

, suppliers, and contractors. Oversee scheduling of labour and materials for maximum efficiency. Monitor project costs, variations, and reporting. Ensure compliance with BS 7671, health & safety, and quality standards. Provide technical leadership and support to site teams.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an Estimator and/or Contracts Manager in the electrical industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including renewables. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. IT literate (estimating software experience is a bonus). Relevant qualifications. Full UK Driving Licence.
