Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Electrical Estimator

to join our pre-construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for projects ranging in value from 100,000 to 3.5 million. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with design and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates and tender documentation Review and analyse specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements Undertake material and labour take-offs to support cost planning Collaborate with pre-construction, design, and project teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of tenders Attend site visits as required to support the estimating process Maintain and develop relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners

Candidate Requirements

City & Guilds Electrical qualifications (or equivalent recognised certification) Time-served background as an electrician, electrical supervisor, or in a comparable role Demonstrable experience in electrical estimating within the commercial and/or light industrial sectors Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent organisational and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
