Objective of the Role

Assist electricians with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks, working under supervision to develop their skills and knowledge. You will be involved in various aspects of electrical work, including installing wiring, cable management systems, and electrical equipment, as well as assisting with testing and commissioning. You will adhere to health and safety protocols and work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installing wiring, cable management systems (trunking, tray, conduit), and electrical equipment

You will work under the guidance of a qualified electrician, learning new skills and gaining experience

You will adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist with testing and commissioning

Maintaining tools and equipment

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Assist in identifying and resolving simple electrical problems.

Qualifications & Experience:

Basic understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations. Part qualified or working towards NVQ Level 3/QQI Level 6/ Electrical Craft Card or equivalent Must hold IPAF. Must have a current & valid Safe Pass/CSR. Current Abrasive Wheels Certificate (desirable). Current Manual handling Certificate (desirable). Current Working at Height Certificate (desirable).

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Expected hours: 39 - 55 per week
