Electrical Maintenance Development Engineer
Job Description
Quoile Services Limited is seeking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Development Engineer to supplement our team and support existing and upcoming projects in Ayrshire Scotland.
Key tasks are those involved in preparing electrical maintenance for a major capital project, including:
Critical Assessment of plant equipment. Assign SAP criticalities
Appropriate application of standard strategies and Plant Maintenance routines to new electrical equipment.
Create electrical Plant Maintenance schedules
Preparation of schedule and maintenance task information for upload to CMMS
Liaise with Technical Approvers in the development and/or approval of new Plant Maintenance routines and Standard Tasks as required
Spares requirement assessments
Blank sheet maintenance programme development
Take into account all relevant Industry and Client procedures, guidance, etc, relating to the work, which will ensure compliance with Safety Management, Performance Standards and Verification Schemes
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to create effective working relationships within the Maintenance and Project groups, with all disciplines
Maintenance Development Engineer
Experience
We are looking for a Electrically biased Maintenance Development Engineer with experience in the practical application of maintenance engineering tools.
Experience and understanding of the practical and technical requirements of implementing maintenance review projects.
Ideal candidate will come from an electrical maintenance background in a large manufacturing facility, preferably pharmaceuticals, chemical or food manufacture.
Sound technical knowledge of electrical equipment and current maintenance standards and practices.
CMMS experience preferably SAP
Sound knowledge of Microsoft office tools, specifically EXCEL
Good technical authorship skills, ability to review and prepare PM routines and procedures.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
Degree or HNC qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 52,000.00-55,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Industrial Electrical Maintenance: 5 years (required) Pharmaceutical, Chemical or Food Manufacturing : 5 years (required)
