About the Role

Seeking a

self-motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Industrial Electrician

to join our clients Engineering department as a

Work-Based Learning Practitioner (Assessor)

.

No assessing experience?

No problem

-- They will fully sponsor your

TAQA Assessor qualification

and support you as you qualify on the job. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who's ready to

step off the tools

and move into a rewarding training and mentoring role.

You'll manage a caseload of learners, carry out training needs analyses, support enrolments, and deliver coaching, mentoring, and underpinning knowledge sessions -- either one-to-one or in small groups (up to 8 learners).

What You'll Need

Level 3 qualification (or higher) in

Electrical or Engineering discipline

Industry experience

in electrical maintenance - ideally PLCs, fault finding, and breakdown repair Strong organisational and time-management skills Confident using digital tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.) Passion for sharing knowledge and supporting the next generation of engineers
If not already held, you'll be supported to achieve:

Assessor qualification (TAQA) Internal Quality Assurance qualification (401 Unit) Digital Literacy Level 2
