In-House Electrician
to support our compliance, maintenance, and refurbishment operations.
This role focuses heavily on
EICR certifications
, planned compliance works, and electrical upgrades across our managed portfolio. You will work closely with our property managers, maintenance coordinators, and refurbishment teams to ensure properties remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out
EICR inspections and certifications
across managed properties
Completing
remedial works
following EICR reports
Installation, testing, and upgrading of
smoke, heat, and CO alarms
Full and partial rewires
of rental properties, HMOs, and blocks
Consumer unit replacements and upgrades
Fault finding and reactive maintenance works
Ensuring all electrical works comply with
BS 7671 (18th Edition)
Completing accurate certification and compliance documentation
Liaising with property managers regarding access, scheduling, and works required
Working safely and professionally in occupied rental properties
Essential Requirements
Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification
Proven experience completing
EICRs
in residential properties
Full UK driving licence
Strong understanding of rental property and HMO compliance standards
Ability to work independently and manage a planned workload
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience working within
property management or lettings portfolios
Knowledge of
HMO licensing requirements
Experience with block management or communal electrical systems
