The Kanthal Product Area specialises in heating alloys, elements, modules and systems for industrial heating and high temperature applications. Primary markets are the semiconductor, solar, glass, chemical and petrochemical industries, in which a high level of expertise and reliability are needed in the delivery of industrial heat.

time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer

to help achieve this.

Your role



You will work within the Engineering department and provide world-class support to the manufacturing team by:

Actively engage in the Company's Safety-First culture, adopting and applying core values and code of conduct in all business and personal dealings Promote and work within a safe working environment Work to planned maintenance schedules Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting Continuous improvement in relation to operating efficiency Contribute to the business on-time delivery targets by ensuring optimal equipment availability Respond quickly and efficiently to plant breakdowns Drive change and continual improvement Apply knowledge of manufacturing techniques and principles Maintain a planned and organised approach to workload Participate in the on-call system (1 week in 6) -- additional payment allowance included

About you



You will have a proven track record within a maintenance engineering environment, with

at least 1 year of post-apprenticeship experience

. You will be able to work under your own supervision, be self-motivated and enthusiastic. You will possess good interpersonal skills and have a structured and analytical approach to problem solving. You will hold a

BS 7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.



Advantageous Skills & Experience:



Knowledge of power electronics, including thyristors and temperature control systems Familiarity with analogue & digital I/O systems Experience with

PLC/SCADA control systems and HMI interfaces

Experience designing, building, and commissioning control panels Experience of commercial/industrial installations including heavy containment and cable installs
