The Opportunity




Join us as an

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

at our

Westleigh Quarry

site, where you'll play a critical role in keeping our plant and wider production equipment running smoothly and safely. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that offers great variety and responsibility across both electrical and mechanical systems.


You'll be part of a close-knit, supportive team working for

This is a full-time, site-based role with overtime opportunities and excellent long-term development prospects.

Key Responsibilities



Carry out all aspects of

electrical maintenance

on the fixed plant and site infrastructure.

Diagnose and repair faults

in electrical systems, ensuring rapid response to minimise production downtime. Complete

preventative maintenance (PPM)

schedules and support planning for system upgrades and improvements. Maintain and update

electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation

in line with ESMS procedures. Ensure compliance with all

health, safety, and environmental policies

, including permit-to-work and risk assessments. Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support safe, efficient plant operation. Carry out inspections on equipment including

distribution boards, isolators, control panels

, and sensors. Contribute to a proactive culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the site. Be involved in project work including installation of new machinery and upgrading existing systems such as PLC's

Who You Are



You're a

qualified electrician

or multi-skilled engineer with experience in

industrial plant maintenance

. You have strong knowledge of both

electrical and mechanical systems

, ideally in an automated or manufacturing environment. You enjoy

solving problems

, reacting quickly, and working methodically to keep systems running. You're confident working independently, but equally enjoy being part of a team. You're familiar with safe systems of work and

take pride in maintaining a clean, safe working environment

. Experience supervising contractors and completing work permits is beneficial. You're flexible, reliable, and keen to contribute to a high-performing team.
