The successful candidate will be responsible for
managing electrical installation and maintenance projects
, leading a team of electricians, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring commercial success and technical excellence in every job.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of
electrical installation and maintenance projects
from inception to completion.
Lead and support a team of
electricians and electrical engineers
, ensuring top-quality delivery and safety compliance.
Oversee
project planning, resource scheduling, and execution
, ensuring all works are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain and grow strong
client relationships
, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure all work adheres to
BS 7671 wiring regulations
, health and safety requirements, and relevant compliance standards.
Manage
project budgets and P&L performance
to ensure profitability and effective cost control.
Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to tenders and proposals.
Conduct
site audits, toolbox talks, and engineer reviews
to uphold service standards and safety protocols.
To be a Company QS under the NIC/EIC
Requirements
Proven experience in an
electrical project management
or senior supervisory role within the construction or building services sector.
Strong technical knowledge of
commercial and industrial electrical systems
, including power, lighting, control systems, and renewables.
18th Edition (BS 7671)
qualification (essential).
Inspection and testing (2391-52)
qualification (essential)
ECS/CSCS Card and SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred).
Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of
motivating teams
and delivering successful projects.
Commercial experience with
budget management and P&L experience
.
Highly organised with the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary:
55,000 - 60,000 (depending on experience)
