Job Description

We are seeing an experienced Electrical (Construction Site) Manager for a 9-month contract with possibility of a permanent position. Our project is the West Middlesex - Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre (ADC), valued at 80 million. This state-of-the-art facility would provide diagnostic imaging such as X-ray, CT and MRI as well as cancer treatment and renal dialysis for people with kidney problems. There will also be a training and education centre within the unit.



Job Purpose

Responsible for the delivery primarily of the Electrical M&E aspects of the build, working as part of the M&E team The new development is designed to be an all-electric building, supporting the Trust's commitment to sustainable development.



Essential

Relevant Building Services qualification advantageous not essential with appreciation and understanding of both disciplines

Electrical skill base

Managing subcontractors

Experience working with a main contractor or large M&E subcontractor in a M&E capacity

Strong attention to detail

I.T. Literate



Job Purpose and Scope:



To coordinate, procure and supervise Electrical M&E works

Managing works with an emphasis for on-site works

Carries out quality inspections and assists in management of QVF system

Issues and supervises closure of NCR's and CAR's

Carry out and Monitor Work Inspection Records (WIR) procedure

Liaise on a day to day basis with trades and civils senior engineers

Monitors programme with weekly updates to Project Manager

Manages & monitors subcontractors

Management, monitoring and supervision of H&S and compliance with CDM regs at the work face
