Electrical Project Coordinator
to support our Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and administration of multiple electrical connection projects.
This role is ideal for someone with coordination or administrative experience in the electrical or utilities industry who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Role Overview
As the
Electrical Project Coordinator
, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from design through to energisation. Working closely with Project Managers, you'll help manage project documentation, DNO/IDNO communication, permits, procurement, and progress tracking to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

office-based role
, supporting the coordination of multiple live electrical and EV charging projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers in the coordination and administration of electrical connection and EV charging projects.
Liaise with
DNOs, IDNOs
, and local authorities to obtain design approvals, permits, and adoption documentation.
Track and manage key project milestones, from design approval through to energisation and handover.
Maintain accurate project records in Google Drive and update progress using internal project management tools (e.g. Notion).
Assist with procurement tasks, including ordering materials, obtaining quotes, and coordinating deliveries.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including connection applications, risk assessments, RAMS, and as-built records.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Support the preparation of project packs, status reports, and documentation for DNO/IDNO adoption.
Key Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a
project coordination or administration
role, ideally within an
electrical, utilities, or engineering
environment.
Understanding of
electrical infrastructure
or
EV charging
projects.
Experience working with
DNO/IDNO processes
is highly desirable.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and project management tools (e.g. Notion, Asana, or similar).
Knowledge of NERS accreditation requirements, Section 50 notices, or electrical permitting is advantageous.
Qualifications
Background in business administration, project management, or a relevant technical field.
Project Management or related certification beneficial but not essential.
Basic understanding of electrical drawings or connection schematics would be an advantage.
