The Role



As an

Electrical Project Engineer

, you will work as part of a team on exciting electrical installation projects in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibilities



Safely deliver work within allocated budget and timeframe, meeting client requirements Proficiently manage sub-contractors including invitations to tender and evaluations of returned tenders. Define the scope of work, specifications, programmes, and cost control of sub-contracted works. Collaborate with other disciplines, clients, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure a successful programme. Maintain knowledge of current building regulations, codes of practice and legislative requirements. Check drawings for accuracy and buildability. Conduct site and works visits as needed. Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to produce the costs on any variations. Monitor and report on programme and progress.

What we are looking for



Demonstrated prior experience in a similar role working on M&E contracts coupled with strong Electrical technical knowledge. Experience in planning and executing programmes for building services projects. Capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships. Familiar with AutoCAD with the ability to read and interpret drawings. Exhibits a high level of self-motivation, organisational ability, and dedication to meeting deadlines. Confidence and commitment to providing a high quality, professional service.

It would be great if you are



Qualified to at least HNC level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent although this is not mandatory.
