About the Role

The Electrical Project Engineer will support the delivery of electrical engineering projects from design through handover. This role involves technical coordination, documentation, supplier management, and ensuring projects meet quality, safety, compliance, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support development of electrical project scopes, schedules, and budgets Coordinate engineering activities between internal teams, clients, and suppliers Review and prepare electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications Assist with equipment selection, procurement, and technical evaluations Monitor project progress and help resolve electrical and technical issues Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety requirements Participate in site visits, testing, inspections, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline 2+ years of experience in electrical project engineering (EPC, industrial, utilities, or energy experience preferred) Understanding of electrical systems such as LV/HV distribution, protection, control systems, switchgear, or automation Familiarity with relevant electrical standards and regulations Proficient in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD, electrical design software, or project management tools is an asset Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and within collaborative, cross-functional teams
