Electrical Project Manager - Data Centre Projects

We are assisting our client , a

Top 10 M&E contractor

, on their search for an experienced

Electrical Project Manager

to join on a

major data centre

project in

West London

. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the early stages of a prestigious development.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems Manage busbar systems and associated 15 million electrical package Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Manage project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting Oversee client interface and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Coordinate with the main contractor, consulting engineers, and other stakeholders Monitor progress against programmes and implement corrective actions where necessary Manage procurement of materials and equipment Conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets specifications and standards Prepare progress reports, variations, and close-out documentation

Requirements

Busbar experience is essential

M&E experience on data centre or mission-critical project

Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial or data centre projects Strong understanding of electrical design, installation standards, and regulations Experience with high-voltage systems and power distribution Excellent commercial acumen including cost management and contract administration Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Project Management Professional registration or equivalent (preferred) Knowledge of data centre infrastructure and critical systems Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Collaborative approach and team player mentality
