Job Overview:

We require an experienced Electrical Project Manager to meet current demands and recently secured contracts.

Electract are an ECA/NICIEC Electrical Contractor established in 1950. We cover the Midlands and the UK. We are based at Bardon Hill (Leicestershire) and Watnall (Nottingham).

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience managing electrical installation projects, is desirable, from inception to completion Ability to manage on-site operations for medium/large electrical installation projects Leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor and develop teams Effective communication skills with a customer focused approach Self-motivation with the ability to meet deadlines BS7671 (18th edition) qualifications and a solid understanding of the construction industry Knowledge of the requirements for lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm and security systems Ability to develop plan and manage resources including labour, materials and plant Competence in attending site meetings, producing progress reports and forecasting labour and materials requirements Experience coordinating specialist subcontractors Commercial awareness, including cost control and change management Ability to ensure compliance, quality, and safe working practices Competent IT skills and familiarity with relevant software systems SSSTS qualification is desirable, and the ability to produce risk assessments and method statements Flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays

Key Responsibilities

To oversee the procurement of materials and equipment to meet the programme To organise and oversee specialist subcontractors To oversee the costs, ensuring profitability and good value. Identify any cost implications and capture changes for cost purposes Develop and manage construction programmes Oversee site operations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance Prepare handover documentation, including O&M manuals, certification, and as-installed records
