Position: Electrical Rail Systems Specialist / Team Lead
Location: Derby
Salary: \xc2\xa360,000 to \xc2\xa390,000 depending on experience

About Us:
We are seeking an Electrical Rail Systems Specialist to join our client, focusing on rolling stock, railway systems, and infrastructure. Flexibility is at the core of this role, as you will support a diverse range of electrical engineering projects within our portfolio. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take the lead on multiple projects, leveraging your technical expertise to enhance railway safety and contribute to research-driven initiatives benefiting manufacturers, owners, and operators.

As an Electrical Rail Systems Specialist, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Managing and leading various projects related to railway electrical systems, ensuring their successful delivery.
• You\'ll support electrical engineering projects across our diverse project portfolio
• Applying your deep engineering knowledge and sound judgment to guarantee the safety and efficiency of our railway systems.
• Preparing high-quality written reports and effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contributing innovative solutions to complex client challenges, drawing from your formal training and extensive experience.
• Utilizing your experience with Common Safety Method regulations or equivalent safety standards in project execution.

As an Electrical Rail Systems Specialist / Team Lead, we encourage you to apply if you possess the following competencies and experience:

• At least 5 years experience in Railway Electrical Systems
• Have a strong understanding and practical experience in the delivery of railway electrical systems.
• Competent in preparing high quality written reports, with the capability to present technical concepts and outputs to non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with working under the Common Safety Method regulations or equivalent safety standards.
