Electrical Service Engineer
Job Description
Due to expansion Lifting Systems Ltd are looking for site installation engineers, specialising in electrical work. We work all over the country installing steelwork and overhead cranes
The successful applicant will utilise their multi-skilled abilities to undertake installation, testing and commissioning of electrical travelling overhead cranes and associated support structures throughout the UK. The position involves travelling to and working on customers sites on a daily basis and will include overtime and occasionally staying away from home overnight, hotel and overnight allowance paid for.
Whilst we work nationally you must be based in Northamptonshire or a surrounding county
Experience
Installation of overhead cranes, jib cranes, runway beams, and other lifting equipment
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Capable of working three phase electrical supplies and control circuits
Familiar with three phase motors and associated switching equipment (contactors, relays, and invertors)
Load testing
Erection of fabricated gantry structures
Commissioning of ETOC
Control equipment and electrical wiring
IPAF and CSCS card holder
Knowledge of installing gantry steelwork or overhead cranes
Clean driving licence
Able to work a part of a small team
Training will be given for the right candidate
Qualifications
Time served in electrical engineering
IPAF
Forklift truck
Electrical bias qualified to 18th edition (advantageous)
LEEA qualifications (advantageous)
