Who we are looking for

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer at an industry leading family-owned sawmill.

AJ Scott Ltd are a progressive and continually expanding business. We require an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

As a Electrical shift engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and diagnosing electrical faults, installing and commissioning site machinery and equipment. It is expected that you will hold an NVQ 3 in engineering (electrical) or have significant equivalent experience, you will experience in an FMCG maintenance role and an industrial environment and be confident in using CMMS and Microsoft Office

You will be comfortable in a reactive maintenance position and possess good working knowledge of industrial electrical equipment, motors and drives. Ideally you will have recent electrical fault-finding experience and an understanding of PLC's and EC&I systems.

Shifts:

Our Shift Engineers work in teams of three on a rotational 4 on 4 off shift patterns, comprising of dayshift and night shift.

Day shift - 7am - 7pm

Nightshift - 7pm - 7am

Salary range from 40,447 to 47,200 dependent on experience
