This is a key role for Carrington West\'s client, who are a household name in the Power and Enegry industry in the UK. It will report directly to the department director
Key responsibilities

\xc2\xb7Work with the sector Director to build/maintain a market-leading team capable with that can all aspects of Interconnectors (including AC, HVDC), both onshore and offshore.
\xc2\xb7Support the sector Director in establishing a partner network for the development and co-investment of Interconnector assets
\xc2\xb7Support the scenario planning and technical design of new Interconnectors and Multi-Purpose interconnector opportunities working with partners and the company\'s renewables department
\xc2\xb7Evaluate the feasibility of using Multi Purpose Interconnectors to support elements of the Offshore Transmission Network, utilising existing assets such as wind farms, OFTOs and subsequently developing the technical design for future developments
\xc2\xb7Identify and engage with the client\'s supply chain partners and work with procurement team to review and engage them.
\xc2\xb7Manage and support the technical delivery and subsequent operation of power transmission assets.

What do you need?

\xc2\xb7Highly experienced in the field of power transmission, ideally with strong bias towards HVDC transmission systems
\xc2\xb7A good understanding of the all the key technologies that underpin power transmission systems
\xc2\xb7Experience of successfully developing solutions for successful power transmission opportunities
\xc2\xb7Strong business management capabilities with a track record in growing and developing a team
\xc2\xb7Ability to develop and communicate strategies, budget and business cases working in collaboration with multiple individuals, teams, and, potentially, organisations
