Position: Electrical Technician/Service Engineer

Location: Glasgow U.K.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical Equipment within our Rental Fleet in accordance with UK regulations. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical welding machines and Electrical Control panels. Ensure compliance with relevant UK electrical standards. Perform Calibration of Welding Plant. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents. Work independently or as part of a team. Visit Field Breakdowns and perform onsite Installations and repairs when required. Provide excellent customer service and always maintain professional conduct.
Requirements:

Qualified Electrician with relevant UK certifications NC/HNC Electrical & NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Practice or Equivalent Qualification. Proven experience in electrical maintenance, installation, and repair. Strong understanding of UK electrical regulations and safety standards. Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Full UK driving licence required.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in industrial electrical systems. Experience in Welding Plant is beneficial but not necessary. Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead apprentice electrical personnel.
