We are looking for an Electrical Testing Supervisor to join our team in Papworth.



Working as an Electrical Testing Supervisor you will be responsible for periodic inspection and testing of LV electrical installations within the Building services Team

What you'll do:



Undertake essential group 1 & 2 electrical testing, any remedial works as required and general maintenance activities. Potential to increase scope to fixed wire and RCD testing. Undertake planned maintenance works. Undertake any safety checks and tests on completion of maintenance tasks and document accordingly To liaise with the Electrical Operations Manager regarding plant or equipment failures and to request the supply of materials, spares and / or services as necessary. This may involve direct liaison with suppliers or contractors and collecting materials from supplier's premises. Support the operational team in ensuring contract compliance. To adhere to all FS policies and procedures

What you'll bring to the role:



Recognised time served electrical apprenticeship, in Contracting, Maintenance supported by the relevant qualification at that time. Level 3 Electrical Installations. IET, BS7671 :2022 A2, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, qualification. AM2 Qualification. C&G Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations 2391 / 2394 & 2395. CSCS Safety passport or equivalent health and safety card. You should possess a good working knowledge of current electrical legislation, regulations and standards and have a proven track record of working in 24-hour operational environments. The role requires a person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good IT skills would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided to produce legible, accurate and concise reports.
