Electrical/Multi-skilled Engineer

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off, Days & Nights.

We are hiring experienced Shift Engineers to join our busy, high-performing bakery!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and routine daily checks on machinery and equipment. Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out effective repairs. Ensure all site utilities are running safely and efficiently. Complete engineering work requests, maintaining accurate records and clear communication with Production. Work to a high standard in line with food safety and hygiene regulations. Carry out projects and installations, meeting timescales and quality expectations. Use electrical and mechanical skills to diagnose and fix issues across various plant equipment. Confidently contribute to engineering meetings and complete shift reports.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Shift Engineer in a food production environment (essential) Electrical bias with hands-on mechanical knowledge Skilled in diagnosing faults on machinery and electrical panels Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Good communication and teamwork skills Able to use basic computer programs (email, reporting tools, etc.) UK resident with indefinite right to work (no sponsorship available) Must provide proof of qualifications at interview
