In this role, you will carry out a wide range of electrical duties, from installation and maintenance to troubleshooting and project work, across both modular and traditional construction environments. Duties
Interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and schematics for accurate installation
Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and control systems in modular units according to design specifications
Assemble and connect electrical panels, breakers, and distribution systems within modular buildings.
Perform electrical pre-wiring and testing of modular units before they are transported to the site
Connect modular units to main electrical services once installed on-site, including power supply integration
Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical systems for faults; repair or replace defective components
Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and quality control requirements
Work with other trades (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) to coordinate installations and maintain project timelines.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work
Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring diagrams
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
