Electrician

Location: This post is based at Link\xe2\x80\x99s Falkirk office.

Hour of Work: 39 per week, Monday to Friday

An opportunity has become available for an experienced, qualified Electrician to become part of C~urb\xe2\x80\x99s Planned Maintenance Team. You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of electrical work associated with kitchen/ bathroom installations, medical adaptations, void/ reactive repairs, and EICR\xe2\x80\x99s in occupied properties.

C~urb is a partner company of Link Group and provides high quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other customers in Scotland\xe2\x80\x99s Central Belt. In addition, we also deliver a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities.

There will be a requirement to work throughout Link\'s areas of operation, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be able work flexibly to ensure that timescales are met. Access to a van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform, and PPE are provided.

About You

You will have detailed technical knowledge evidenced by experience and a relevant NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent). This role requires a qualification in City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and a Health & Safety passport (e.g. ECS card).

You will have proven experience in a similar electrician role and a competent knowledge of electrical installations/appliances including fault diagnosis and rectification.

The successful post holder will have the ability to compile written technical reports and a knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials and installations.

Knowledge of and a commitment to excellent customer care are essential for this role, as well as a sound knowledge and awareness of relevant Health and Safety requirements and an understanding of legislation and how both impact on method of work and customer needs.
