Responsibilities
Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters to perform various tasks.
Operate power tools including drills, saws, and voltage testers safely and effectively.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to prevent faults or failures.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
