Electrician Qualified Supervisor

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician Qualified Supervisor to join our M&E team.

As the Company Electrician Qualifying Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical testing and compliance of all electrical remedial / projects work undertaken in the Anglia region. We have a friendly, professional approach with a long-term working partnership ethos to help clients meet their legal compliance and duty holder requirements whilst keeping their buildings safely maintained.

What is the Role?

As the Electrician Qualifying Supervisor you will ensure that our client's assets are installed and maintained to the highest standards, to carry out maintenance, inspection, test, repair and minor works on the following:

LV Electrical Distribution systems and equipment (Install & Testing)

Lighting systems and equipment (Install & Testing)

Fire alarm systems (Install & Testing)

Inspection & test of commercial client installations

Producing accurate EICR & EIC reports

Acting as the NICEIC QS for the company

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

Fully qualified electrician (recognised electrical apprenticeship), with demonstratable industry experience & hold the JIB Gold Card

Hold the 2391 Testing accreditation

Hold the 18th Edition & Amendment 2 wiring regulations accreditation

Demonstratable understanding of current health and safety legislation in relation to electrical safety at work to SSSTS

Specific experience of health and safety related standards and regulations ideally involving Rail (off-track) experience

Ability to supervise/manage staff and contractors

Able to communicate effectively across all levels

Able to plan and organise own work as well as others, set priorities / deadlines

Experienced in delivering compliance in difficult environments. Possess excellent customer service skills

Ability to deal with maintenance / reactive requests efficiently and effectively

Ability to communicate persuasively and coherently

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
