Role Overview

As an

Electrician

, you'll be trusted to lead electrical work that meets the highest standards. You'll travel between job sites, carry out installations, testing, repairs, and ensure safety & compliance in every job. You will represent STF's brand, professionalism, and commitment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and layouts. Install, maintain, and repair wiring, circuits, switchgear, lighting, control systems, etc. Perform inspection, testing, and verification (e.g. MEIWC, EIC & EICRs, ) to meet BS7671 requirements. Ensure all work is safe, compliant, and of the highest standard. Carry out fault-finding and remedial works on both new and existing installations. Provide excellent customer service on site -- clear, polite communication, clean working. Work autonomously and as part of the STF team, coordinating with colleagues and reporting to supervisors. Keep accurate work records, documentation, and issue handover reports.

Qualifications

Qualified via apprenticeship or equivalent (Level 3 or higher) in electrical installation / inspection, testing. At least 2+ years' post-qualification experience in electrical contracting work. Have / or be eligible for a ECS card graded "electrician" or higher Sound knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and safe working practices. Experience in testing, inspections, and verifying installations. Full UK driving licence. Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer-facing skills. Ability to work independently across sites, managing time and workload professionally.
