Electrician/security Systems Installation Engineer

Job Description
We are an SSAIB accredited Security Systems installation organisation and we are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician with some experience in security systems installation to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and integrated systems, in both commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and commission electrical and low-voltage security systems.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical and security installations.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Ensure all work complies with current electrical and safety standards.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades.
Provide client handover, system demonstrations, and support when required.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Inspection and Testing (desirable).
Proven experience installing and maintaining security systems (e.g. CCTV, intruder alarms, access control).
Strong understanding of current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
ECS or CSCS card (preferred).
Valid UK driving license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Day shift Overtime Weekend availability
