Electro-Mechanical Assembler - Temp to Perm
East Kent
13.50 - 17.25 per hour DOE
9-day fortnight
Are you experienced in electro-mechanical assembly and looking for a long-term opportunity with real prospects?
We're seeking skilled Production Operatives to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in East Kent. This is a minimum 6-month temporary assignment with the strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right people.
What you'll be doing:

• Assembling simple and complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components using engineering drawings and work instructions
• Working with a variety of hand and bench tools, including torque drivers
• Maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in all assembly tasks
• Following health & safety procedures and company processes at all times
• Collaborating with colleagues and team leaders across production, assembly, test, and repair functions

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Strong focus on quality with excellent attention to detail
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to learn and progress

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rates from 13.50 - 17.25, depending on skills and experience
• Opportunity to progress through structured pay banding after probation
• 9-day fortnight working pattern (every other Friday off!)

Additional requirements:

• Candidates must be able to provide 3 years' work references and pass a basic DBS check
• Right to work documentation required on day one
