Role Overview

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the assembly and integration of complex X-ray machines. This includes mechanical fitting, cabling, and integration of components such as PCBs, servers, cooling systems, and high-voltage power supplies.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble X-ray scanner systems from engineering drawings and work instructions Repair and rework mechanical assemblies Interpret electrical schematics and perform fault finding Ensure build quality through documentation, self-checks, and buddy checks Maintain production throughput targets Support other manufacturing areas and stock control as needed Contribute to Lean initiatives and continuous improvement Assist with prototype builds and engineering projects Adhere to health and safety policies and safe working practices

Candidate Requirements

Experience assembling complex electro-mechanical products Strong mechanical and workshop skills Ability to work independently and accurately to procedures Basic testing and problem-solving skills Good communication and adaptability Understanding of electrical/mechanical drawings and safety standards GCSEs in Maths and English Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, BPD, and CI principles

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00-16:00
Friday: 08:00-15:30
May transition to shift work in the future, with applicable shift premium.
