Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and proactive Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team. This role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial cleaning equipment--especially ATEX-certified vacuums and high-reach pole systems. You'll work primarily from our Northampton workshop, with occasional site visits.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair industrial vacuum systems and cleaning equipment Perform routine maintenance and safety checks Support equipment installations and commissioning Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation Collaborate with operations to ensure timely equipment turnaround Assist in equipment testing and quality assurance Provide technical support to clients and internal teams Respond to issues with practical solutions--no excuses, just action

Qualifications

Experience in electro-mechanical engineering (industrial cleaning equipment preferred) Familiarity with ATEX standards (advantageous) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to read technical schematics and manuals Attention to detail and commitment to safety Full UK driving licence (preferred) Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
