Job Description

Coda Octopus Martech Limited, based at Osprey Quay Portland, near Weymouth, Dorset, has a requirement for an experienced electronic/electro-mechanical technician to join its multi-disciplined production team.

We are interested to hear from skilled and experienced production technicians, with experience of in-process inspection or who those are interested to develop this skill.

Working on a diverse range of projects for high profile customers in the Defence and Aerospace and Sub-sea industries, our technicians and engineers need to be flexible, adaptable and motivated. Successful applicants will have appropriate training and qualifications plus several years' experience in an electronic/electro-mechanical manufacturing or service and repair environment.

Candidates should have at least 5 years experience in SOME of the following:

Production and Manufacturing

Electro-mechanical assembly Soldering (essential) PCB assembly (through-hole, and manual SMT) Cable assembly Wiring and crimping (essential) Box-build and looming System testing In-process and finished goods inspection
As well as a demonstrable practical aptitude, enthusiasm, flexibility and an ability to adapt and learn on the job and are of equal importance.
