This Electronic Design Engineer role sits within a small, senior engineering team developing upper-limb robotic prosthetics used globally. You'll own electronics design end to end, influence how products reach manufacture, and work hands-on with complex electro-mechanical systems. Salary 60,000 to 65,000 plus strong benefits.
Scope of the Role
As Electronic Design Engineer you'll be responsible for owning electronics design within highly integrated electromechanical products, taking concepts through to technical file transfer.
Lead schematic design, PCB layout oversight, debugging and hands-on board bring-up
Own electronics design data, revision control and change processes
Collaborate on electromechanical design with mechanical and software engineers
Drive electronics design for manufacture, assembly, test and production transfer
Support risk management activities within regulated electro-mechanical systems
Key Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience as an Electronic Design Engineer delivering products into manufacture
Professional schematic capture and PCB design for shipped electro-mechanical systems
Hands-on debugging, fault-finding and modification of electronic assemblies
Experience working in regulated environments with documentation and change control
Strong collaboration skills with Mechatronics Engineer, mechanical and software peers
Salary and Benefits
60,000 to 65,000 basic salary
Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week on-site in Leeds
