Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various electronic devices. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools, as well as experience in computer hardware and networking. The Electronics Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electronic equipment, ensuring all repairs meet quality standards. Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to perform maintenance tasks effectively. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electronic systems. Assist in the assembly and testing of new electronic devices or systems. Provide support for computer repair, including hardware troubleshooting and software installation. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency in the workshop. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools. Strong understanding of computer hardware, including repair and maintenance skills. Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation related to electronics. Experience in computer networking is advantageous, along with knowledge of network troubleshooting techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Previous experience in equipment repair or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
